The National Insider Threat Special Interest Group (NITSIG) is excited to announce that it will hold a 1 day Insider Threat Symposium & Expo (ITS&E), on September 10, 2019, at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, (JHU-APL) in Laurel, Maryland.
Would your company be interested in exhibiting at this event / expo? This is a very important event for your company to showcase its commitment and expertise in mitigating insider threats risks, but also your company's products and services as well. Additionally, you will have a great opportunity to collaborate with attendees on finding out their interests, needs and challenges related to insider threat risk mitigation.

CLARIFICATION ON MULTIPLE INSIDER THREAT SYMPOSIUM'S BEING HELD
To avoid confusion and to clarify the following, the NITSIG is making the following statement. Another organization, the Defense Strategies Institute (DSI), is having an Insider Threat Symposium, on October 23-24, 2019, in Alexandria, VA. The costs for attendees range from $690 to $1090
The NITSIG was one of the first organizations to create a dedictaed Insider Threat Symposium & Expo (ITS&E) event.
The NITSIG has held 4 ITS&E events. (2015, 2017, 2018, 2019).
The ITS&E is recognized by security professionals as the Go To Event for in-depth real world guidance from Insider Threat Program Managers, with Hands On Experience.
The NITSIG has previously requested that DSI use another name when marketing their Insider Threat Symposium event. DSI continues to use the name Insider Threat Symposium, which confuses individuals that think the NITSIG is hosting 2 different events, on different dates, with different costs. This is not the case.
The NITSIG IS NOT affiliated with DSI. The cost for the NITSIG ITS&E is only $30.00. Attendees of past ITS&E have stated that the events had great speakers, provided lots of valuable information and provided great networking opportunities.
